Baldwin Haspel Burke & Mayer congratulates New Orleans entrepreneurs Austin Sherman and Alexis Korman of Big Easy ‘Bucha for winning the BHBM Law Pitch Competition, in association with The Idea Village. The competition was comprised of three pitches from New Orleans start-ups. BHBM attorneys selected the winner based on five factors: (1) pitch quality, (2) current traction, (3) impact on New Orleans, (4) scalability, and (5) future legal needs.
The prize awarded includes free legal guidance from the firm’s attorneys, who can assist in various areas of practice from intellectual property to business formation and structuring. BHBM’s Entrepreneurs and Emerging Entities practice group brings knowledge and value to companies that bring their new ideas to market. Our experienced legal team helps entrepreneurs grow their companies on the proper foundation and with the necessary legal protections.
