Leon Rittenberg, Jr. became a partner in a local firm before joining Baldwin Haspel Burke & Mayer in 1994, where he practiced law until his retirement in December 2017.

Throughout his career, Leon was an active litigator, particularly in disputes between heirs and legatees, along with the dissolution and liquidation of various entities. He specialized in estate planning, trusts and probate and was also knowledgeable in franchise and taxation law. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America for his work in Estate Planning & Probate, Business/Corporate law and Real Estate law; and also by Louisiana Super Lawyers for his work in Estate Planning & Probate.

Leon continues to be very involved with community organizations. He enjoys spending time with his wife, kids and grandchildren. He also enjoys working out and attending New Orleans Pelicans’ and New Orleans Saints’ games.
