Summer Associate Program

Baldwin Haspel Burke & Mayer hires law students for its Summer Associate Program from law schools in Louisiana and around the United States.

This is a firm that appreciates innovation. We practice in traditional areas but look for non-traditional thinkers. No idea is too small and no area of law is too far out of reach.

The Summer Associate Program consists of 6 weeks of hands-on training, and focuses on the clerk’s educational experience from a practical perspective. Summer Associates (or Law Clerks) work on real files with senior attorneys and often attend hearings in court, draft pleadings and even meet with clients.

While a Summer Associate at Baldwin Haspel Burke & Mayer, we strive to show you everything New Orleans has to offer. From planned events to informal lunches, Baldwin Haspel Burke & Mayer attorneys and Summer Associates get to know one another and develop relationships for the future.

Many of our attorneys have advanced law degrees and certifications and are excellent mentors for law students.
