Baldwin Haspel Burke & Mayer is pleased to announce that Larry Mobley has joined the firm as of counsel.
Larry Mobley is a North Carolina native who attended Appalachian State, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Political Science. While earning his master’s degree, Larry taught statistics at the University. Larry moved to New Orleans in 2002 to attend Loyola University of New Orleans School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2005.
Larry joined Baldwin Haspel Burke & Mayer in 2015, after having practiced law in New Orleans for ten years. His practice concentrates on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on the defense of brokerage firms, financial institutions, investment advisors, publicly traded companies and trade associations. He also represents and advises trade associations on various antitrust matters and has substantial experience with Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitrations and investigations. Larry is an active member of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), whose mission is to develop policies and practices which strengthen financial markets and economic growth.
Larry enjoys golfing, hunting, spending time with his friends in New Orleans and traveling to Tennessee and North Carolina with his wife to visit family.
