Baldwin Haspel Burke & Mayer is pleased to announce that George “Jack” Casanova Jr. has joined the firm as a tax associate.
George “Jack” Casanova Jr. is a Church Point, Louisiana native who attended Millsaps College where he received his B.A. in Business Administration before moving to New Orleans to attend Tulane University Law School, where he received his J.D., cum laude. In 2017, he received his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
Jack moved back to the Crescent City and joined Baldwin Haspel Burke & Mayer as a tax associate. His practice consists primarily of transactional matters, with an emphasis on federal and state taxation, and estate planning. Jack has interned for the Hon. Henry Brown, Chief Judge, Louisiana Court of Appeals (Shreveport) and the Hon. Jay Zainey, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Louisiana.
Jack enjoys playing golf, tennis, traveling and spending time with his wife and children.
