BHBM to ‘HELP’ Those in Need

Posted on by admin

Baldwin Haspel Burke & Mayer attorneys will provide pro bono legal assistance to the area’s homeless by participating in the Homeless Experience Legal Protection (HELP) program.

The HELP program was founded in early 2004 by Judge Jay Zainey, of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, to provide attorneys in New Orleans with the opportunity to assist homeless individuals with legal matters on a single consultation, advice only and/or limited representation basis. The program has since expanded throughout 15 states.
